Photos by Cornell & me

Because we also wanted to explore some more off-tourist spots during our stay on Bali we decided to visit the Pura Lempuyang - a small temple which is located on top of the Seraya hill. Before reaching the temple we first had to climb 1700 stairs (!), which is quite a workout when you're not used to the warm Balinese climate I can assure you. Like you can see on the pictures above that my boyfriend and I took during the climb, the stairs were guiding us through a beautiful tropical forest. Although the temple on top of the hill itself wasn't all that impressive (I didn't even take a proper picture), the view was absolutely breathtaking. Hope you enjoy this little throwback to one of my favourite journeys so far! Love, Anne

  10. Thanks. We’re planning to have our honeymoon in Bali next year. Some says you can’t swim in the beach during surf season… do you know when this is? Can you also recommend about bali holidays 2015 and Balinese calendar 2015.
