TWO HOURS SPENT IN RIGA

A few photos of the exact two hours my friends and I spent in Riga last week. We headed for St. Petersburg for the weekend, but had a five hour transfer stop in Latvia - so we decided to take advantage of this disadvantage and immediately jumped on a bus to the Latvian capital the minute we got out of the plane. We almost felt like happy kids on a school trip because we were able to explore a second city in just one short weekend holiday. The few hours we had turned out to be perfect to explore the main sights of Riga, and we even had time left to enjoy a yummy hot dog and well deserved ice cream (we unfortunately didn't manage to find any ice cream parlours in St Petersburg).
