Hause Rooftop Jalan Setiabudi II | MD Place Tower 2, 6th floor

Hause Rooftop is a rooftop bar and restaurant with kind of a Berlin vibe (because of its atmospheric decoration lights, plants and deephouse music) and a beautiful view over Jakarta's skyline. Because of the exceptional location this hotspot is one of my absolute favourites for a romantic dinner with your lover or just casual hanging out with friends on a saturday night. The restaurant offers an excellent variety of different cocktails, appetizers and main courses - it was so hard to make a choice! In the end we just ordered an assortiment of small bites so we could enjoy lots of different food. Especially their sweet potato fries and garlic prawns were incredible! 

BEAU by Talita Setyadi Jalan Cikajang no. 29

BEAU is the perfect place to have lunch in Jakarta because this hotspot also has its own bakery. Think of crunchy croissants, lots of cakes/sweetness and bread that is actually tasty (which is rare in Indonesia). I had a blast trying their truffle fries, prosciutto crudo pizza and poached egg with salmon for lunch. Also loved their iced matcha latte. And last but not least: the place is also very photogenic because of all its tropical plants!

For the best breakfast in town you should visit Berrywell. Berrywell has several locations all over the city and produces the most tasty smoothie bowls. Also they offer various delicious fresh homemade juices. You should definitely try their PB&B bowl (with a base of banana & peanutbutter) because it was the best ever!
