Still can't believe it is already three weeks ago since I left this enchanting, colourful city - after I had been living there for four months. During my time in Prague I have given you guys several updates about my life in the city and the travels I made to nearby cities and countries, as well on my blog as Instagram account (@annestikvoort). I've already uploaded some impressions of the beauty of these other places, but because I also took a lot of photos by camera in my temporary hometown itself I've decided to last but not least also dedicate a photo dairy to Prague itself; a city which has quickly become one of my absolute favourites among Europe. These photos were taken during several strolls through the city centre, and represent some of the (in my opinion) prettiest corners of the old town of Prague - so I really hope you enjoy them! Happy hump day!

Love, Anne

Ristorante Pizzeria Giovanni Kozhna 481/11
For the best Italian food in town you absolutely have to visit Giovanni: a cosy restaurant with the most friendly staff, located in a small alley right next to Prague's most famous square. Both pizza's, pasta's and other main courses are of excellent quality. Among my favourites were their garlic pizza bread, ham with melon, truffle beef and tiramisu. I think I've been at this restaurant like a thousand times during the four months I lived in Prague since the food was so delicious (and I wasn't that much of a fan of the Czech kitchen which mainly existed of lots of meat and potatoes).

Hanabi Sushi House Petrska 11
At this a bit more fancy sushi restaurant I've had the best sushi in my life so far: so so good. Hanabi is specialised in big fusion rolls which are a seriously delicious taste sensation and real pieces of art, so make sure not to miss this place when in Prague! One time my sister and I were dining at the bar (because we forgot to make reservations) where we could see with our own eyes how much effort and precision was put into the sushi rolls by the friendly Japanese cooks. Hanabi is also one of the reasons I want to visit Prague again real soon.

Angelato Rytirska 962/27
By far the best ice cream in Prague! Can't even remember how many times I've visited Angelato. During my last days in the city I even came here daily (and sometimes twice) to enjoy their incredible coconut, mango, dark chocolate or salty caramel ice cream flavours (my favourites). One time they even had avocado ice cream which I of course tried right away. One thing is sure: a visit to Prague is never complete without Angelato.

Las Adelitas Americka 684/8
Delicious Mexican food, a cosy ambiance and affordable cocktails perfectly describe Las Adelitas. This restaurant is the perfect place to have dinner with your friends and drink fruity margarita's before heading for Prague's nightlife.

The Tavern Chopinova 26
Freshly prepared American style burgers and fries of good quality, do I need to say more?

Kogo Polpo Vladislavova 2121/21
Kogo Polpo is a bit more expensive than average restaurants in Prague but has some delicious fish, meat and pasta dishes on the menu (and good wine).

Puro Gelato Na hrobci 410/1
Another really good gelateria, located a bit further outside the city centre. Especially their fruity sorbet flavours are incredibly tasty.

Café Café Rytirska 406/10
Just looking for a cup of coffee and some yummy pie? Then Café café is your place to be!

TriCafe Prague Anenska 188/3
A more alternative and hipster place to grab a good cup of coffee and catch up with friends. TriCafe also offers a few kinds of homemade pie daily which are most of the time really worth the try. I also loved their vintage-style interior because it is so different from other cafes in Prague.

Café Louvre Narodni 1987/22
Café Louvre was one of my favourite cold weather hideouts in-between university lectures during my time in Prague. At this cosy café you can have both breakfast, lunch and dinner or just enjoy a cup of coffee accompanied by a delicious piece of pie (make sure to try their warm apfelstrudel with vanille sauce and cream - it's the best).

AnonymouS Bar Michalska 432/12
For the craziest, coolest and most extraordinary cocktails in town you should visit AnonymouS Bar - which is not just your average cocktail bar but a real amusing experience!
