Visiting the Cinque Terre had been on my travel bucket list for quite some time, so when my boyfriend and I decided to head for Italy during the summer holidays we made sure to visit. During three days we explored all of the five Cinque Terre towns: Riomaggiore, Vernazza, Monterosso al Mare, Manarola and Corniglia. Each of these colourful small towns possesses its own special beauty and atmosphere, which we tried to experience as much as possible. During our first day we took the train from Riomaggiore (our town of residence) to Corniglia, from which we hiked all the way down to Vernazza, where we ate a gigantic amount of ice cream to cool down a bit. In the afternoon we took a little boat tour to Manarola, where we had the most incredible seafood lunch (I will write a post with recommendations regarding places to eat in Cinque Terre soon!). During the next days we made sure to do another hike, this time from Vernazza to Monterosso al Mare (the views you'll get to experience during these hikes are simply breathtaking), and took a refreshing swim afterwards - including the best artichoke Focaccia in the area for lunch. I must say I truly fell in love with the Cinque Terre coast for everything was just so photogenic and colourful - and since taking pictures of pretty sceneries is one of my absolute favourite things to do.. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy todays little photo diary which includes some of the prettiest photos I took using my phone. Wish you all a happy Thursday!

Love, Anne
