At our arrival at gorgeous Sahana Villas in the middle of Seminyak we were welcomed by the most friendly, gentle staff you can ever imagine. Two incredibly kind ladies introduced themselves as our personal butlers, made us fresh ginger-flavoured drinks and informed us about the facilities of our Sahana Villa. After a quick villa tour Cornell and I immediately took a dive into our private pool to freshen up a bit after being on the Balinese roads for the entire day. Although Seminyak is overall a lively and trendy village we were actually able to enjoy some peace and quiet here which was absolutely great. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love life in Bali and especially Seminyak because all of its incredible food hotspots and trendy shops, but having our own little hideaway in the middle of a touristy environment felt so good.

Each of the Sahana Villas has three bedrooms including their own outdoor bathrooms, an open living room, big kitchen and private garden with swimming pool that I loved so much. Our favourite bedroom was by far the romantic wooden house in Indonesian style which was separated from the big villa. Also the picture perfect green garden and tropical palmtree vibe made us feel happy. The villa's can easily accommodate a group of friends or family of six people since they are very spacious.

Each morning our two lovely butlers came over to our villa to clean the place and prepare a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast included eggs (any style), fresh fruits + juice and banana pancakes - my favourite! It was amazing to start each day slowly and relaxed while being accompanied by a good homemade cappuccino or fresh coconut at the pretty pool. Our Balinese butlers (who immediately felt like sweet moms) were even prepared to give Cornell a quick how-to-ride-a-motorbike course which was quite fun!

All together we had amazing days in Seminyak thanks to Sahana Villas. The gentle staff makes you feel appreciated. They are willing to help you at any time. In the midst of busy Seminyak Sahana Villas is a delightful retreat. Its peacefullness will make you feel like like coming home!

Love, Anne
