HOTEL REVIEW: RIAD ANATA

Last week my boyfriend and I escaped cold and rainy Holland and flew to sunny Fez (Morocco) for a couple of days. Although not everything went perfectly fine that day (delayed flight, problems with taking money etc) we were more than happy when we finally arrived to the lovely Riad Anata. We were welcomed by the sweet staff with tea and cookies in their gorgeous courtyard. After we finished our tea they showed us our room - which was perfect, just like the rest of the riad by the way. I especially loved the view we had from our room on the cute courtyard downstairs!
Riad Anata was everything we were searching for during our stay in Fez. Fez can be quite busy and overwhelming, so coming home to Riad Anata every night was always a pleasure. Especially the beautiful rooftop was the best place to relax after a day out in the city!

Another great thing about the Riad is the breakfast, which is served on their rooftop terrace. They serve different things every day, but expect things like fresh orange juice, tea, yogurt with homemade granola, fruit, pancakes, avocado, fresh bread.. Almost everything they serve is homemade which makes it even better in my opinion. I loved starting the the day like this: drinking my morning tea in the sun and enjoying the good food on their lovely rooftop terrace!

In conclusion: I would absolutely recommend staying at this gorgeous Riad as it is the perfect place to relax from the hustle and bustle from Fez!
