Ostuni, or as the Italians refer to this town: the white city or the pearl of Puglia. As the name already says, this whole town is covered in white: the villagers are obliged to paint their houses white. Especially in the old city, everything is white and so photogenic - I wanted to take pictures of every corner and street. Ostuni lays on a hill, so expect to find a lot of stairways while wondering the beautiful streets of the old centre. Once you have reached the top point of the old centre Ostuni, you will be rewarded with a pretty view of the surrounding area! We only visited Ostuni for one day, but I would have loved to stay there a little bit longer to explore everything: next time!
