Baba Beach Club is the younger sister of the well known Sri Panwa Phuket, and by far one of our top luxury experiences in Asia. After an exhausting travel from Singapore all the way through different locations all over Malaysia my boyfriend and I finally arrived at Phuket airport, where the Baba staff was waiting for us with a transfer, refreshing cold water and wipes to clean our hands from all the travel dirt. This was all so welcome since we were so tired back then. When we arrived at the hotel (which was only a 20-minute drive) we were immediately guided to our own private villa with direct acces to the hotel pool from its backyard. The villa itself was really modern, including a big kitchen (with ice creams in the fridge - yum!), lounge area, walk in closet (loved this), relaxing bath and enormously comfortable kingsize bed. The relaxing atmosphere made us feel at home immediately.

After the villa tour we headed for the pool for a refreshing dive, and explored the area a bit. The endless beach in front of the hotel was simply gorgeous and we were so lucky to have it all to ourselves since there was no one else around besides some pretty palmtrees - including a photogenic swing! When the sun went down we ordered some yummy cocktails at the pool while listening to the weekly live performance of a DJ that was playing at the hotel. After sunset cocktails it was time for dinner at the Baba Beach restaurant. The menu contained both Japanese, Thai and Italian specialties, but in the end we decided to order Italian because after our weeks spent in Asia we kinda started missing the European kitchen. Both the pizza and pasta were simply delicious!

Since I'm a real breakfast person I was also really curious about the breakfast at Baba - which turned out to be great as well. We enjoyed various pastries, croissants, eggs, fresh tropical fruits, yoghurt with homemade granola and so on at the pool, in front of our villa. The sweet staff even brought us some extra coconut jam - which had been my newest addiction ever since we set foot in Thailand.

All together Baba Beach Club was such a great and luxury experience. The hotel really is a place for music lovers like us and we absolutely adored their live performances at the pool during the evenings. Also the staff was kind and helpful at all times, which made our stay even more relaxing. Thanks for the amazing time and I really hope we'll meet again in the future!

Love, Anne
