HOTEL REVIEW: VILLA THALANENA

Krabi was the last stop after our 2 months travel through South-East Asia. After a long travel from Koh Tao, we finally arrived to our home for the next few days: Villa Thalanena. We were welcomed by the sweetest staff with a fresh coconut, and quickly after they showed us our room - or better said: our own, private luxury villa. After a quick villa tour we took a dive into our private pool to freshen up a bit and relaxed at the pool for the rest of the day.

The villas at Thalanena are all perfectly designed and offer everything you need. I especially loved the bedroom downstairs, which had a direct access to the pool - how cool is that? Another thing that I loved about our stay here was the breakfast, which was delivered in the villa every morning. Besides breakfast it is also possible to have lunch and dinner in the restaurant: Cafe Thalane. They have a different kitchen every day of the week, and we had the pleasure to dine here during their 'Italian day'. We ate the most delicious pizza and pasta here!

Villa Thalanena is located in a quiet area next to the beach, about 25 kilometers from Krabi town itself. But you can book everything - from tours to Phi Phi island to stand up paddle boarding - with the staff and they'll arrange it for you! The beach is practically their backyard, and most of the time you will have the beach all to yourself - perfect right? We really loved this place because it was so peaceful and quiet, after all Thailand can be quiet busy and overwhelming sometimes.

All together we had the best stay at Villa Thalanena, the super sweet and helpful staff makes you feel like you're at home, and will help you with everything you need. Hope to visit again in the future!
