WHERE TO EAT AND PARTY IN BERLIN

My recommendations regarding restaurants and nightclubs in Berlin:

Mar y Sol Savignyplatz 5

A typical Spanish tapas restaurant and bar, located in the middle of the vibrant city. The authentic atmosphere is perfect for a romantic date or just a cosy dinner with some of your closest friends. I am obsessed with their boquerones fritos (fried anchovies) and Calamares a la Romana.

Mikoto Sushi Pappelallee 22

Mikoto is definitely on my top-list of the most delicious sushi I've had in my life. The prices are quite low for the amazing food, and I absolutely love their extensive offer of yummy cocktails. Definitely a good place to meet up with your friends, just to hang and drink a few cocktails before heading for the Berlin nightlife.

Standard Serious Pizza Templiner Str. 7

Although the menu exists of limited choice this trendy restaurant serves some seriously delicious pizza (think its in the name). So if you're craving for fresh and fantastic quality pizza you know where to go. But make sure to book a table because the place is very popular among young Berliners. 

Silo Coffee Gabriel-Max-Str. 4

After visiting I quickly decided Silo Coffee to be one of the best breakfast/lunch spots I've ever been to. Just order their forest fruit pancakes, homemade granola bowl or avocado toast and you'll never want to leave again. 

Berghain Am Wriezener Bahnhof

Berghain is probably one of Berlin's most famous clubs because of its very strict door policy. During my first time here I was actually a little bit scared because of all the stuff I read on the internet about 'what to do and not to do' if you want to get in (luckily my boyfriend and I came in). Although there is huge chance of being sent away, a night in the Berghain is a great experience and therefore at least worth the try. 

Watergate Falckensteinstrasse 49

This popular modern night club is located at the riverside in Kreuzberg's neighbourhood, close to the east side gallery. Watergate is well known for its floor-to-ceiling windows, river-terrace, LED lightning and international DJ's (deephouse/techno). Watergate particularly attracts tourists, but is still worth a long night of nonstop dancing because their DJ's are usually really good!

Tresor Köpenicker Str. 70

Tresor is well known as the underground techno temple of Berlin. The nightclub is located in an old department store and this is still visible in the interior. Dancing and walking in-between the old fencing, piping and storage space makes the whole Tresor experience extra mysterious. 

Ritter Butzke Ritterstrasse 26

Night club located on the ground-floor in a former factory - which gives such a cool underground vibe. I especially liked their summer outdoor courtyard and luminous disco floor. Ritter Butzke is a bit less touristy and more local than the other clubs mentioned above.
