Small alleys, colourful houses, quiet streets.. This is how I experienced Brescia. A truly beautiful Italian city, not as overflowed by tourists as the 'big' ones like Milan or Venice. However, despite of the missing crowds it doesn't mean there's nothing to explore in and around Brescia. Take a step into the old part of the city and you can walk through for hours, houuurs seriously - constantly discovering new beauty on every corner. And if you're not that kind of an adventurous type, you can of course always join some old Italian folks in a local bar - drinking the most delicious Italian wines for ridiculously little money!
