The old centre of Krakow was much smaller than I expected but beautiful anyway. Since you can actually do most of the sightseeing in only one day we had all the time of the world to explore each corner of the city. Next to the old town it was also a great experience to wander around in Kazimierz - which is the jewish district in Krakow. Next to the fact that Kazimierz involves a lot of history (some parts of the Schindler's List movie were also filmed here) this area also offers quite a range of good restaurants which are less touristic than the ones you'll find in the old centre. Speaking of which, I made you guys a small list of recommendations in case you're visiting the city any time soon. Enjoy! Love, Anne

Gelateria Donizetti Swietego Marka 23
The best (a bit hidden from the main street) place for Italian ice cream in Krakow - and I think I'm quite an expert by now. Make sure to try their cinnamon stracciatella flavour since its the most delicious stracciatella ice cream I've ever had!

Trattoria Cyklop Bozego Ciala 7
In case you're - just like us - not so much into Polish dishes this Italian restaurant will be your friend during the evening. Great atmosphere, good service and they offer quite a range of pizza's, pasta's and other dishes.

Manzana Miodowa 11
Cocktails, cocktails, cocktails. This Mexican restaurant sure knows how to bring them on. I'm still day dreaming about the amazing strawberry daiquiri cocktail I had here. Oh and definitely order some nachos with guacamole next to your drinks because they'll make your evening even better.
