During our last two nights in Marrakech my boyfriend and I stayed at Dar Ten: an atmospheric, cosy and a bit more traditional riad. This riad is located in the middle of the Medina and therefore has the perfect location for exploring the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square and Marrakech souks - which is definitely a must: so many beautiful interior items, simply couldn't choose! On our arrival at riad Dar Ten we received a cup of sweet Moroccan mint tea from a friendly French-speaking lady, who kindly guided us to our room afterwards. Our room had the cutest little dome with tiny windows in all colours of the rainbow - adorable isn't it?

What I loved the most about riad Dar Ten was its super cute courtyard with big tropical plants, lanterns, candles and mini pool. Especially during the evening it was such a romantic place to relax a bit with a cup of tea. Another big plus of Dar Ten was its rooftop with jacuzzi. Unfortunately due to bad weather conditions (rain and cold) during our last days we weren't able to enjoy it (or take pictures), but I can imagine that it can be such a relaxing place to escape the hustle and bustle from the souks. Last but not least, breakfast at Dar Ten was typical Moroccan: very sweet. Think of sweet pastries, fresh fruits and juices, mint tea, pancakes and bread with jam.

To conclude, our last days in Marrakech have been such a blast thanks to the kind staff and amazing location of Dar Ten!

Love, Anne
